Built on a heritage of sports hospitality management, our expertise embraces live brand experiences including conferences, awards ceremonies, celebration dinners, parties, sponsorship sourcing, sponsorship activation and bespoke hospitality events.

With over 50 years of combined experience in events, sponsorship and hospitality we have a proven reputation for delivering on our promises. Under the ownership and management of Ben Rodber and David Spicer we engage with our clients on a consultancy basis to create our solutions and then take a hands-on approach to implement them ensuring we are fully accountable for both the ongoing management and final delivery.
Our company structure is designed to provide instant access to either Ben or David and we pride ourselves on being open and approachable with the clear objective to quite simply, getting the job done. Meet Ben and David:
Ben Rodber has over 20 years’ events industry experience, which he has successfully combined with his passion for sport.
He joined RT Marketing in 2001 as a director, where he was responsible for initiating, creating and delivering a wide variety of events to B2B, B2C and B2E audiences.
In 2011 Ben was appointed as the lead project director for The Coca-Cola Company on their sponsorship activation at the London 2012 Olympic Games and subsequently has continued his relationship with Coca-Cola having worked on the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games, the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil and Rugby World Cup 2015 in England. In 2016, Ben’s attention turned to delivering Coca-Cola’s hospitality activations at UEFA EURO 2016 in France and at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. 2018 saw Ben delivering for Coca-Cola at the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games and then at multiple venues at 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
Ben is currently working on the next set of major sporting events; Rugby World Cup 2019 Japan, UEFA Euro 2020, Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Away from his desk, Ben is usually found on a touchline watching his children playing a variety of sports, coaching at Guildford Rugby Club, playing hockey at Haslemere Hockey Club or, if time permits, with a map in hand trail-running around the South Downs National Park.
David has more than 25 years’ experience in the hospitality and live events industry and has overall responsibility for the RT operation.
Having joined RT in 1999 to develop and oversee the operational delivery of the hospitality and events divisions, he has worked on the creation and delivery of a whole host of both client facing and internal communication events ranging from 10 guests to 1,200 delegates across the globe for a range of key clients. Most recently these include Ninety One, Pegasystems, the RFU, Investec Bank plc, Resource Alliance, UEFA and Premiership Rugby.
David specialises in technical project and production management, overseeing equipment specifications, set design and construction, transport and logistics, branding design and creation and video content delivery. During the Covid-19 pandemic, he created a robust and stable virtual platform, working with PSP, to deliver compelling virtual event experiences across the RT client base.
In 2015, David created, managed and delivered RT’s largest ever series of events, the Twickenham Pavilion Guest Experiential Programme, for Rugby Travel & Hospitality at Rugby World Cup 2015. The Twickenham Pavilion accommodated up to 3,000 guests per match at all 10 matches played at Twickenham Stadium during the autumn. His role encompassed full project management of the AV production and lighting elements, creating the entertainment concepts, delivering the interactive game zones and managing the stage show elements whilst integrating guest speaker talent to provide a vibrant and exciting guest hospitality experience.
Away from working at RT, David enjoys horse racing, coaches at Teddington Hockey Club and as a surprise to many, he also attends Pilates classes regularly to combat his love of fine dining and wine!
